How to link it (just 2 minutes)
- Open Google Pay / PhonePe / BHIM / Paytm
- Go to "Bank account / Cards" → add your RuPay Credit Card
- Verify the card (OTP)
- Set a UPI PIN
- Done! Now scan any QR, pick credit card as the source, and pay
4 things to keep in mind
- Only RuPay credit cards work on UPI right now (not Visa / Mastercard)
- Merchant payments (shops / QR) are allowed; person-to-person credit-card UPI transfers usually aren't
- Reward eligibility varies by bank/card — some spends (rent, fuel, wallet loads) may be excluded. Confirm with your bank
- Treat it like a credit card — pay the bill on time, or you'll face interest + late fees
